About Waddles

Waddles is sweetly expressive and full of joy — like a little ray of sunshine in an adorable bunny suit. She has a gentle, thoughtful nature and a face that seems to show every little feeling as she takes in the world around her.

If you look carefully, Waddles appears to have a starfish shape on her forehead. We cannot promise this special marking will remain the same as she grows and goes through molts, but for now, she is certainly our special little star.

Waddles is a gentle explorer with a more cautious side. She likes to be sure things feel safe before she fully opens up, but once she does, her playful side comes out in little binkies and the charming waddle-run that earned her name when she was tiny.

She is a sweet, joyful young rabbit who will likely continue to blossom with patience, kindness, and a home that lets her move at her own pace.

Waddles in Action

Best-Fit Home

Waddles would do best in a calm, gentle indoor home with adults or older children who are respectful of animals and able to give her space when she needs it. She does enjoy interaction, but she prefers to decide when she is ready to come forward rather than being rushed.

Because she can be more cautious at first, Waddles would likely thrive with people who enjoy quiet trust-building and are willing to let her confidence grow naturally. She is not the best match for a home looking for a rabbit to be carried around or cuddled on demand.

Waddles can be kicky when held, so floor-level interaction will be best as she settles into her new home. Sitting with her, talking gently, offering attention on her terms, and letting her come and go freely will help her feel safe and secure.

Her best-fit home is one that appreciates a sweet, expressive, gently playful rabbit and is willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

Placement Notes

Waddles is being placed as an indoor companion rabbit through our normal placement process. She will go to an approved home only, and all placements are based on thoughtful fit rather than first-come availability.

Her new family should be prepared to provide a safe indoor setup, daily interaction, proper diet, regular grooming, and appropriate veterinary care as needed. A signed placement agreement is required.

Waddles is currently available for placement. If she is not matched by October 3, 2026, her listing will be paused so she can be prepared for spaying. She would then be relisted after recovery.

If you feel Waddles may be a good fit for your home, please read our Before You Apply page first. If our placement approach and requirements feel like a good match, you may then complete the Placement Form so we can learn more about your home and whether Waddles may be the right fit.
