About Skedaddle
Skedaddle is a gentle, thoughtful little doe who is still quietly becoming herself. Every litter seems to have one rabbit whose personality unfolds more gradually, and in this litter, that rabbit is Skedaddle.
She is not usually the first to investigate something new, but she does not disappear completely into the background either. Instead, she prefers to watch, learn, and join in once she feels comfortable. She enjoys familiar surroundings and appreciates reassurance as she encounters new experiences.
Skedaddle still has some growing into herself to do, and that is perfectly okay. Some young rabbits show their full personalities early, while others continue to blossom over the weeks and months after settling into a home of their own. Skedaddle seems likely to be one of those quietly rewarding rabbits whose confidence grows little by little.
She is already becoming a bit more independent each week, and with patience, kindness, and steady guidance, her quiet strengths should continue to shine.
Skedaddle in Action

Best-Fit Home
Skedaddle would do best in a calm, patient indoor home where she is allowed to develop at her own pace. She would likely appreciate predictable routines, gentle interaction, and people who understand that some rabbits need time before their full personalities appear.
She may not be the best match for a loud, high-energy household expecting an instantly outgoing rabbit. Instead, Skedaddle would be happiest with someone who enjoys slow trust-building and finds joy in noticing small signs of progress — a little more confidence, a little more curiosity, a little more willingness to join in.
Her best-fit home is one that sees the beauty in a quieter rabbit and is willing to let her unfold naturally. For the right person, Skedaddle may become a deeply rewarding companion whose personality reveals itself little by little.
Placement Notes
Skedaddle is being placed as an indoor companion rabbit through our normal placement process. She will go to an approved home only, and all placements are based on thoughtful fit rather than first-come availability.
Her new family should be prepared to provide a safe indoor setup, daily interaction, proper diet, regular grooming, and appropriate veterinary care as needed. A signed placement agreement is required.
Skedaddle is currently available for placement. If she is not matched by October 18, 2026, her listing will be paused so she can be prepared for spaying. She would then be relisted after recovery.
If you feel Skedaddle may be a good fit for your home, please read our Before You Apply page first. If our placement approach and requirements feel like a good match, you may then complete the Placement Form so we can learn more about your home and whether Skedaddle may be the right Bun for you.
