About Skedaddle
Skedaddle is a cautious, wide-eyed little rabbit who often looks as though her eyes might bug right out of her head when she finds herself somewhere unfamiliar! She likes to take a moment to assess her surroundings before deciding what she thinks of them.
Unlike some of her more timid siblings, however, Skedaddle usually doesn’t stay worried for long. Once she starts feeling more comfortable, her curiosity takes over and she becomes much more interested in exploring what is around her.
She is fairly independent and is not especially interested in a lot of physical affection or handling. She prefers having the freedom to investigate on her own terms rather than being fussed over.
That doesn’t mean she wants to be ignored. Skedaddle will come back to her person with very purposeful little boops to make absolutely certain they are still there and, more importantly, still paying attention to her. Once reassured, she is usually perfectly happy to head off and continue exploring.
Skedaddle would be a good match for someone who enjoys interacting with a rabbit without expecting her to be especially cuddly. She seems happiest when she can have companionship nearby while still being given plenty of independence.

Best-Fit Home
Skedaddle would do best in a calm, patient indoor home where she is allowed to develop at her own pace. She would likely appreciate predictable routines, gentle interaction, and people who understand that some rabbits need time before their full personalities appear.
She may not be the best match for a loud, high-energy household expecting an instantly outgoing rabbit. Instead, Skedaddle would be happiest with someone who enjoys slow trust-building and finds joy in noticing small signs of progress — a little more confidence, a little more curiosity, a little more willingness to join in.
Her best-fit home is one that sees the beauty in a quieter rabbit and is willing to let her unfold naturally. For the right person, Skedaddle may become a deeply rewarding companion whose personality reveals itself little by little.
Placement Notes
Skedaddle is being placed as an indoor companion rabbit through our normal placement process. She will go to an approved home only, and all placements are based on thoughtful fit rather than first-come availability.
Her new family should be prepared to provide a safe indoor setup, daily interaction, proper diet, regular grooming, and appropriate veterinary care as needed. A signed placement agreement is required.
Skedaddle is currently available for placement. If she is not matched by October 18, 2026, her listing will be paused so she can be prepared for spaying. She would then be relisted after recovery.
