Funion is an adorable baby buck who surprised us a bit with his temperament change as he has matured. Initially, he was very zany and had a mind of his own. He is a very intelligent little guy and was able to find multiple methods of getting out of his exercise pen repeatedly. We never knew where we would find him and always had to be very careful when we were walking because he loved to zoom out of nowhere.

As he is has grown, he has become a quieter, more observant boy. Perhaps it's because we now have his living space barricaded so there's no way to escape, or perhaps he developed a more mellow outlook on life, but he is very different from his younger days. His energy level may change again, once he has been placed in his new home and is given more freedom to play and explore, so anything is possible with Funion. He has always had an independent streak and likes to figure things out on his own.

At this point. we are calling him a lower energy, Observant Bun who tolerates cuddles well and enjoys just hanging out with his people. When we say he "tolerates" cuddles, he usually sits still nicely, but has a tendency of scrunching up his little face like a cat who is not very happy. It's pretty funny and cute, but we wanted to be honest and let people know his expression isn't one of blissful joy during cuddle sessions.

Size-wise, Funion looks like he's going to be a bigger boy, so may end up being 4-5 lbs when fully grown. He's about a half pound heavier than his more petite brothers. He is very handsome, with a lovely, soft blue coat, darling long ears, and the ability to give the best stink eye. We have found this last trait to be fairly common among our blue Holland Lops. They reign supreme when it comes to stink eye.

Funion's ideal family will be laidback and will follow his lead on how much attention and interaction he's up for at any given moment. At this point, he's more of a hang out on the floor together while Funion sniffs and tentatively climbs on us kind of a guy, but he may very well become bolder and braver as he bonds with his new family and relaxes into his new home.

As the Hot Cross Buns are raised to be pampered pets, we do require the signing of a Spay/Neuter Agreement as part of our placement paperwork. Please speak to your rabbit-knowledgeable vet to inquire about their services and fees.

All of the baby Buns go to their new homes with a bag full of goodies including: a packet of bunny care information, a small bag of transition food and hay, a snack baggie of old-fashioned raw oats for treats, a toy, and a fleece snuggle mat.
