Wenceslas (as in the song "Good King Wenceslas") is a very sweet and playful little guy. Although very active, he is a notch or two below Parson Brown's level of craziness. Wenceslas is an incredible mix of Cuddle Bun, Social Butterfly Bun, Active Bun, and Middle of the Road Bun. He is a lot of fun, but is able to wind down and sit quietly for cuddle while he recharges his battery (at lightning fast speed.)

He should mellow out a bit as he matures, especially after his neuter, but there are no guarantees. We love his energy and the fact that he likes to include us in his play and silly antics, using us as ramps and places to play hide and seek as he runs around.

He is definitely a more energetic Bun, so anyone looking for a true Cuddle Bun would have his/her hands full with this little guy. We would recommend him more for a family open to energetic or middle-of-the-road type energy levels.

Size-wise, Wenceslas looks like he's going to be an average boy, between 3.5 and 4 lbs when fully grown. He is a very handsome little guy, with little ears and a chunky head, and very nice coloring. He also has a luxuriously soft and silky coat, like his sister Figgy Pudding.

His grooming requirements should be typical, with brushing 2-3 times per week, and daily when his coat begins to shed.

Wenceslas' ideal family will be comfortable and fun-loving and will follow his lead on how much attention and interaction he's up for at any given moment. He loves to play and climb and will enjoy using his family as his personal jungle gym. He is a great little Bun.

As the Hot Cross Buns are raised to be pampered pets, we do require the signing of a Spay/Neuter Agreement as part of our placement paperwork. Please speak to your rabbit-knowledgeable vet to inquire about their services and fees.

All of the baby Buns go to their new homes with a bag full of goodies including: a packet of bunny care information, a small bag of transition food and hay, a snack baggie of old-fashioned raw oats for treats, a toy, and a fleece snuggle mat.
