Tiddlywinks is a lovely chestnut doe (I have a soft spot chestnuts and love the variety of color in their coats). She is very sweet but is initially shy when encountering new people/situations, as any wise rabbit should be. She is a bit slower to warm up than her sister Parcheesi, and tends to follow the lead of her littermates. This quality might make her a good bunny for future potential bonding. She doesn't rush into anything, but holds back until she knows all is well before beginning to participate. Being bonded with another Bun after recuperating from her spay could help her to be a braver, more outgoing little soul.
We are calling her an Observant Bun who wants to be a Middle-of-the-Road girl. She only lacks a bit of confidence and reassurance to get there. She will follow her natural curiosity when she isn't forced to do things and learns to enjoy new things when she can explore them at her own slow, deliberate pace.
Quiet dogs or cats pique her curiosity and help encourage her bolder side. Children who have been taught appropriate quiet, gentle interaction skills with animals could be a good fit for her.
As the Hot Cross Buns are raised to be pampered pets, we do require the signing of a Spay/Neuter Agreement as part of our placement paperwork. Please speak to your rabbit-knowledgeable vet to inquire about their services and fees.
All of the baby Buns go to their new homes with a bag full of goodies including: a packet of bunny care information, a small bag of transition food and hay, a snack baggie of old-fashioned raw oats for treats, a toy, and a fleece snuggle mat.
