Originally named Figgy Pudding, it took forever for Evelyn and me to come up with a new name for her. We spent months talking over different possibilities, but it was only today that we finally agreed upon Zinnia as her new name. It suits her, as she has grown to be a zany, into everything little doe. She definitely has a sassy, bossy side, and demands treats like a little glutton. There is nothing shy about her!

We believed she would be a fairly chunky false dwarf girl, but she surprised us by staying on the petite side and developing a lovely dewlap and some dainty pantaloons. We're waiting to place a few more of our waiting Buns before attempting to breed her for the first time.

Although she has interacted with both of us regularly, Zinnia is definitely my girl, and ignores my daughter Evelyn. For some reason, Zinnia and I are best buddies.

We're hopeful that she will be a great mama and will be cooperative when the time comes for her first breeding. Zinnia still gives the best stink-eye faces when she's being uncooperative.
