Mancala is a lovely cream doe. Evelyn usually calls her Manny, while I shorten her name to 'Cala. Mancala is a complex little doe who is still trying to decide which facets of her temperament are going to be the strongest. She tends to be serious and more observant (like her sire Gumption), but she also has a silly playful side and loves to sweetly cuddle (like her mama Rosie) when she fully trusts the person/people she is with. Her goofy, zoomie side only comes out when she is really confident and happy. She has a fairly broad energy range, from being quiet and observant to being goofy and doing zoomies, so we're putting her in the 4-6 range on the energy scale.

Mancala tends to be shy in new situations, so she needs patience and gentle coaxing to win her over so she can learn to enjoy different aspects of her life.

Initially, other animals can alarm her, but she has enough curiosity to want to slowly approach them in her own time. She would do best with quieter dogs (if any are in the home) or cats. Well-behaved children who know how to approach animals gently and respectfully would do well with Mancala.

As the Hot Cross Buns are raised to be pampered pets, we do require the signing of a Spay/Neuter Agreement as part of our placement paperwork. Please speak to your rabbit-knowledgeable vet to inquire about their services and fees.

All of the baby Buns go to their new homes with a bag full of goodies including: a packet of bunny care information, a small bag of transition food and hay, a snack baggie of old-fashioned raw oats for treats, a toy, and a fleece snuggle mat.
