About John-Boy...

We had such high hopes for John-Boy as a breeding buck, but his smaller stature has worked against him. We adore this little guy and it is not going to be easy to part with him, but finding a devoted family who will be there for him all the time will be the best possible outcome for him. He is truly a sweet, sweet boy and has so much love to give.

John-Boy likes to investigate any new changes of location or new people n his world very closely. After he feels safe, he begins to relax and settle in for lots of pets and cuddles. Some days he likes to sit still for love, other days he's more active and comes and goes from his favorite person/people to other things to investigate, but he always comes back to his favorite lap or person for pets and reassurance that all is well and that he/she hasn't gone anywhere.

He will need some work on litter box training, but that should come more easily now that he has been neutered. He is a smart little guy and wants to please his people so gentle, consistent effort should help him become ready for free-roam time in the house pretty quickly.

We would describe him as mainly being Middle-of-the Road in temperament, but he's always happiest when he is receiving pets and cuddles from the people he loves and trusts the most. He has the potential to be an excellent bonding Bun because he is so gentle and good-natured.

All of the Buns go to their new homes with a bag full of goodies including: a packet of bunny care information, a small bag of transition food and hay, a snack baggie of old-fashioned raw oats for treats, a toy, and a fleece snuggle mat.
